Elementary school Frýdlant nad Ostravicí, Komenského Street 420, Contributing organization

The history of the school dates back to 1925 when the building was built on Komenského Street and it was long the tallest building in the city. The teaching began in the school year 1926/1927. In May 1994, the school premises were enlarged by an addition of the new secondary school building. The historic part of the building was after many years renovated in 2004 and the campus area was enlarged by the primary school building where the school dining room and classrooms are now. The campus is complemented by a modern equipped sport playground. The elementary school has a capacity of 560 pupils. Its founder is Frýdlant nad Ostravicí. The school has its separated workplace which is located in the town of Nová Ves.
